In CivileWorld, citizens, companies and political parties are subject to taxes.

National Taxes

- Income Tax: A tax, defined by the Congress, levied on all revenue made by citizens and by companies;
- Import Tax: A tax, defined by the Congress, levied on products purchased from a foreign producer. A Government have to set a default Import Tax for each product, but independent Import Taxes can be charged for each product, depending on the product's country of origin.
- Party Tax: A tax, defined by the Congress, paid by political parties on a monthly basis in every 10th day of the month (first month is free of charge and the party can pay the tax before the deadline).
Regional Taxes

- VAT: Value Added Tax. A tax, defined by the Legislative Assemblies, paid on manufactured goods purchased on the market. VAT is not added to the price of raw materials.
- Raw Material Company Tax: A tax, defined by the Legislative Assemblies, paid by business owners on a monthly basis in every 10th day of the month (first month is free of charge and the business owner can pay the tax before the deadline).
Municipal Taxes

- Manufacturing and Construction Company Tax: A tax, defined by the City Councils, paid by business owners on a monthly basis in every 10th day of the month (first month is free of charge and the business owner can pay the tax before the deadline).
- Housing Tax: A tax, defined by the City Councils, paid by house owners on a monthly basis in every 10th day of the month (first month is free of charge and the home owner can pay the tax before the deadline).
Tax Changes

- National Tax changes are proposed by the Country President or Congress Members and shall be approved by the Congress.
- Regional Tax changes are proposed by the Governors or Legislative Assembly Members and shall be approved by the Legislative Assembly.
- Municipal Tax changes are proposed by the Mayor or Councillors and shall be approved by the City Council.
